Dr. Jennifer Hoang is a California board-certified optometrist who is licensed in the medical examination and treatment of ocular diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and binocular vision disorders. She is highly trained in pre- and post- operative care for cataract and refractive surgeries.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Marshall B. Ketchum’s Southern California College of Optometry. During her four years of doctorate education, she maintained membership in the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa national honors society, and graduated with magna cum laude honors.
Dr. Hoang’s clinical training emphasized the diagnosis and management of ocular disease at renowned clinics including HuHuKam Memorial Hospital in Arizona, the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Los Angeles, and the University Eye Care Center of Los Angeles. She also received training in low vision from the Department of Rehabilitation in Nevada. Throughout her career, Dr. Hoang has been dedicated to providing individualized, compassionate eye care. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Hoang’s favorite place to be is at the beach with her energetic dog, young daughter, and beloved husband. She enjoys reading, running, yoga and ballet. She is acutely aware that sight is one of our greatest gifts, and she is deeply grateful each day for the privilege of caring for your vision.
