I was very pleased with this professionally run group of Opthamologist and staff. And the doctors all have excellent credentials.I saw Dr. Jwo, who was pleasant and efficient. I highly recommed this Eye Group.
I made an appointment as a walk-in and was seen by a doctor just two days later. He was very thorough and referred me to a specialist as my condition required. The doctor and all the staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome.
All the doctors are extremely educated and experienced, they gave excellent care and knowledge. Thank you, I am very grateful for their service and care.
Front desk ppl aren’t always the nicest, but the MA in the back office with pink highlights was extremely friendly and made the visit more comfortable. Kevin Jwo is patient with explaining your diagnosis too
Wait time was relatively short, about 10 min. The technician was sincere and got the job done promptly. Another few more minutes to see the doctor and he was kind and very thorough thru the exam. Highly recommend this medical office.
Hello your aircon was set too cold and I complained but your workers did not adjust the temperature ! And the eyedrops to dilate my eyes were too strong and I had to wait several hours to be able to drive away ! My vision was too bright and blurry to drive safely ! Your sunglasses did not help solve the problem ! Main street and Beach road had too many cars and trucks ! And your parking was not adequate !
Good customer service. I was able to get in for my urgent matter. Dr was very professional and friendly.Only the wait time is too long until 1 hr after of my apt.
Even though I was late for my appointment I was seen promptly, the staff & testing and information about my problem, the answers to my questions were completely answered & covered, I highly recommend Bea h Eye Medical Group!

Dr. Abella dumped me like a bad date. I went to Dr. Abella for a very sophisticated and involved surgery. I choose him based on my previous experiences with Beach Eye Medical Group which had been great. Dr. Abella ruined that.This started with a very in-depth test that built my trust for Dr.Abella. He was very complete and professional. The appointment had to be booked, one month in advance. Dr.Abella ordered a MRI. The MRI took a long time to complete. After the MRI, I waited over two months to see Dr.Abella, again. When I finally did, Dr. Abella spent five minutes reviewing the results of my MRI. Then he informed me that he was no longer performing this surgery. Just like that! After over four months of me running around, and being put off, he backed out, and referred me elsewhere; only to have to start this process all over.
I give this doctors office a minus one. They are the most unprofessional and Inconsiderate doctors office I’ve ever ever dealt with. I went to see Dr Shah on May 1 regarding cataract surgery, After waiting for one hour, I was finally called in to see him , he assured me I did need the surgery, but since I was going to be traveling for two months, we set the surgery up for July 30. I was told I would receive a call on July 29 from the surgery center telling me what time my surgery was scheduled for. That is the last time I have received any information from them. However when I got back from my trip on July 24 I called Dr Shah’s office to confirm that my surgery was still scheduled for the 30th and everything was on track , I was assured that it was still scheduled and everything was on track on July 29. I was working so my phone was turned off, I received a call that morning from the surgical center stating that my surgery was scheduled for 8 AM the following morning and to be there by 7 AM. at 12:10 PM I received a voicemail from Jordan at the doctors office telling me my surgery was canceled something to do with them not accepting my insurance my insurance and to call her as soon as possible. I did not get this message until 6 o’clock that night when I got home from work, so I called immediately, but their office is closed at 4:30 PM. I left a message telling Jordon to please call me as soon as possible and tell me what was going on, why are they calling me less than 24 hours before my surgery to let me know they don’t accept my insurance, after all They’ve had two months to figure this out. I called two more times on the 30th asking Jordon to please call me. She never answers her phone and does not return calls. I have called three different times and left messages today is August 5 and I still have never received a call from Jordan, the doctor, or anyone else explaining why they canceled my surgery. Needless to say, I do not recommend Beach Eye Medical Group on Main St on Huntington Beach to anyone.
Dr. Shah and his team have been so helpful! They really went above and beyond to help me get the care I needed, both in their office and advice that was in my best interest. You can tell they care about the patient and want the best outcome for anyone who comes into their office.
