DruAnn McCluskey, MD is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an eye doctor at Beach Eye Medical Group in Huntington Beach. She was born and raised on a farm in Oklahoma. She graduated in the top one percent of her class at Oklahoma State University where she was named a Top Ten Senior. She subsequently graduated from the University of Oklahoma Medical School and was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas. She chose to complete her fellowship training at the prestigious University of Southern California’s Doheny Eye Institute where she completed fellowships both in cornea and external disease and in glaucoma. Doctor McCluskey has been on the staff of Hoag Memorial Hospital since 1989 and joined Beach Eye Medical Group in 1998.
Doctor McCluskey and her husband have two children who attend Huntington Beach High School. She has donated her time and skills to charity ophthalmologic work in Mexico and is active as a Girl Scout Leader and in the National Charity League.
Doctor McCluskey ‘s interests include the medical care of cornea and external disease and glaucoma, including the care of dry eye and corneal ulcer, though she is happy to see all general ophthalmology concerns. She is proud to welcome patients to a practice where real caring and compassion combine with education and experience to provide the best in eye care.
