Allison Sholly, OD earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Cal Poly Pomona before receiving her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. She then completed a rigorous and highly competitive residency in Ocular Disease at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, where she gained advanced clinical experience managing complex ocular conditions and co-managing patients with a wide range of systemic diseases.
Dr. Sholly is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and practices to the fullest scope of optometry. Her clinical interests include glaucoma management, retinal disease, and neuro-ophthalmic disorders.
She is passionate about delivering personalized, evidence-based care while taking the time to educate her patients and help them understand their eye health. Dr. Sholly also served as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Faculty member at the Southern California College of Optometry, where she combined her passion for patient care with her commitment to mentoring the next generation of optometrists.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sholly enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her husband and young daughter.
She is fluent in Spanish.
