Dr. Jessica Lu is a California board-certified optometrist who is licensed in the examination and medical treatment of vision disorders and ocular disease. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry, where she also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology with a minor in Chinese Language and Culture.
Dr. Lu's clinical training concentrated on primary care as well as the diagnosis and management of ocular disease within renowned clinics including the VA Livermore Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente Point West Medical Center, and the Alameda County Medical Hospital. Her areas of interest include management of dry eye, binocular vision, myopia control, and pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgeries. Dr. Lu enjoys providing dedicated, compassionate, and thorough eye exams to patients of all backgrounds.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Lu likes to travel, read, bike, and spend time with her family. She is committed to bringing the best possible eye care to her patients.
